I vote for this one, seen as though we are all displaying creature baits and I think this one has accounted for most tournament successes and PB's for a creature bait in the WC. not sure about the rest of the country but it sure works wonders here.

Seem as though we are onto the punting game, this is my favourite:

Z-man Turbo craw in redbone colour. Dont only ask me about its success, ask Smurf, Plasticman and Southpaw...
But it did get me the 4.3 at TWK last October :-)

Available from Ol Bigmouth already. Priced right and they last forever.

Jim, I am really starting to like the Elaztech stuff, think they are on to a winner here.

Those Turbo Craws do work.
What I have also found out is that some days the bass are after a certain type of craw/crature bait. Ive had it the they didnt want anything to do with the Ugly Otter but couldnt leave the Turbo Craw alone. Then the next time they only wanted the Otter. Same with the Fighting Frog and Speed Craw. Each one of the baits offers a different fall rate, profile and vibrations in the water.
I havent fished the Xcite craws yet but they look the part.

My personal opinion is that all the above baits work very well, what is more important is the way you present them. I personally use the Pit Boss but would be confident throwing all the above as any of the above baits presented in the right spot will get bitten.

I bought myself the Z-man Turbo Craw in redbone and bluegill colour. Haven't had much success till now.

I cant wait for my 4.3 :eusa_pray:

Would u guys punch heavy cover with smaller profile baits like them and the Xcite Raptor Trail Craw Junior. As I prefer bigger baits to hit the pockets.

I fish the smaller in profile Xcite Raptor Tail Craw Jnr in more open water or rocks on a "power fishing" stiffy jig.

For punching the thick stuff it will be the normal Raptor Tail Craw for me (like Roy posted) I saw that specific colour for the first time last week at Ol' Big Mouth and Outdoors and can't wait to throw it.

Here be pro-staff!

This is as bad as asking for a wedding cake and having someone try to sell you a sardine sandwich.

So can anyone tell me whats the drop rate is like when using these baits?

3/16 = seconds per m?
1/4 = seconds per m?
3/8 = seconds per m?
1/2 = seconds per m?
