Do some research boet. Might help Wink
Matthias, check what I use...Junior flukes, can even use a wacky rigged senco, trick worms et etc. I caught in the spawn with a crawdad as well.
I think you want this info so you can try and beat me at our spot. Wink

There's no one perfect drop shot lure; but 4" flukes are popular as well as 4" finesse worms. Roboworm makes quite a few drop-shot plastics that will give you some inspiration.

Find some Aaron Martens vids on Youtube; the guy is a master!

Trick worms/ Flukes/ Tubes or any other finesse small bait.
There are many baits which you can use.

With drop shot, the hook is more important than the bait. :blue-idea:

That reminds me. What hook do you guys use?
Valrath told me that i'm using the wrong kind. If i am. I've been using the wrong hook for over a year.
I use the 1/0 Gamakatsu finesse wide gap hook.

I told you that your hook was too big and that you must down size your bait as they were biting my roboworms and non stop.

They weren't biting the roboworms. That canadian bait you had was attracting all the pikinins :blue-biggrin:
I saw Craig Fraser tie a dropshot with the exact same hook as mine. Maybe it was a smaller version? :blue-question:
