Now that's better, actual people replying.

There is no need to address members of this site as "Bfsa Admin".

Ninja the invitation to SABAA was not on behalf of any specific individual but from BFSA admin as a whole, that's why it was not sent from a personal profile. I'm not sure why you have such a big issue with it but it's your right of course to express it. As Bergie mentioned, admin will on occasion continue to make posts under that profile when it's considered appropriate, hope you can live with that :blue-cool:

Blah blah blah... What are we doing about conserving our little green friends and the water in witch they live? That is the most important topic that should be dicussed. :blue-redface:

Chris this site does not belong to me so you guys can make as many posts under the profile “Bfsa Admin” as you feel fit. Please refrain from addressing me in future under this profile, as was done in this tread. If you want to reply to any of my post or talk to me do it as Chris (Bassassin) like you did now. Members on this site need not be addresses by some high and mighty non-tangible "administration".

Ninja, no offence but have you considered that it's mid week and maybe some fishing will de-stress you a bit?

one thing to remember as much as you (neels) mentioned the site doesnt belong to you...it actually does...because it is the members like yourself...constantly giving report backs...photos and relying to posts...who make this site or any other site for that matter what it is...admin can modify and add stuff and monitor the behaviour of members ...but without yours and many others who keep it alive...the site would die or just become like many other websites...with the odd one or 2 posts.

will regards to the bfsaadmin...no commet (on the fence with that decision)

Although the acronym BFSA stands for Bass Fishing South Africa, one could also become a member of one of the following who share this same acronym:

British Fulbright Scholars Association
Black Faculty and Staff Association
Buffalo Fiscal Stability Authority
British Fantasy Society
Badminton Federation – Saudi Arabia
British Foundation for the Study of Arabia
Brookings Fastpitch Softball Association
Barony of Forgotten Sea Armorial
Brian F. Smith and Associates
Bulgarian Food Safety Agency
Black Falcon School of Arms
British Fire Services Association

Perhaps if you lose your way on BFSA, you might still be able to contribute significantly in another way?
Food for thought.

I think most anglers are members of the "Fantasy Society"... :blue-biggrin:
Life is not about the number of breaths we make, but the moments that take our breath away.

More recently Smurf applied for membership to the "British Fire Services Association"...

BfsaAdmin Wrote:We at BFSA offer the hand of friendship and partnership to SABAA and all bass fishing clubs and societies in Southern Africa. We extend a formal invitation to all members of these societies to join this free online community and to share their experience.

I have been a member of this site for a long time and will continue to be one for a long time! I hope to make many more contributions here.

Bergie Wrote:It's time to stop SABAA from thinking that we are the "bad guys' in posting serious topics for discussion that all bass fisherman enjoy and need answers too.

The way to do this in my opinion is to raise serious issues in a serious manner. This way you will encourage serious debate.

No emoticons
No sarcastic remarks
No implied accusations
Person to person constructive comments
No personal attacks

I personally would like to see that a person who raises a serious matter for discussion, do so under his real name. That way we all know its a matter close to his heart and should be replied to in sincerity.

This thread was intended to invite and encourage more members of SABAA to get involved with the online bass fishing community, it seems to have deviated a long way from the original purpose and become a slanging match with personal insults being thrown around. Admin has removed some of the more argumentative posts and those with personal slights.

This discussion is now locked, if somebody does want to start a thread about the merits or otherwise of having a BfsaAdmin entity to convey non personal messages that affect the BFSA community as a whole they are welcome to.
