Bass fisheries management in SA

Hi guys

I'm sure those of you that enjoy saltwater fishing are aware of this initiative:

I was just wondering whether anything like this is done for bass in our bigger dams? I'm aware of research regarding bass fisheries but I'm interested in their management in South Africa... is anyone aware of any larger impoundments (in SA) where the bass populations are actively managed to enhance it?

My feeling is that although bass are alien to South Africa they do have a significant value in artificial habitats such as dams. It would be great if we had the funds and permission to protect and enhance our fisheries.
